Favourable remote controlled maintenance of NetOp School Student PCs
Netop just released version 6.0.1 of Netop School. This is primarily a maintenance release but does include one new feature that will be very important to our customers.
Netop School student computers can now act as Netop Remote Control hosts, enabling a second teacher or an administrator to take control of a student computer and assist with problems, even while the class is in session. Additionally, the graphic elements of Netop School have been updated to match the new company rebranding, a number of minor bug fixes have been completed, and a Portuguese version of Netop School is now being made available. The documentation for Netop School has also been updated to reflect the rebranding.
Because Netop School Students now act as hosts for Netop Remote Control, a school need to purchase only one Netop Remote Control Guest license in order to enable an administrator to support all of the Netop Schools Students in the building remotely. As Netop School Teacher module does NOT work as a Netop Remote Control Host, so that if an administrator wants to be able to remote control the teacher computer as well as the students, he will need to additionally install Netop Remote Control Host on the teacher PC. This makes Netop School in combination with Netop Remote Control very affordable for schools and companies providing training on PCs.
