The package contains client software, which may be optionally installed on the users’ PCs under the Startup menu item. It graphically shows the user: what percentage of a tree (which can produce a good 80,000 sheets of A4) they have used, how much CO2 has been released during the production of the corresponding amount of printed paper, and how much energy was consumed in doing so.

Netop PrintLimit Pro also provides the ability to use print cards, which store printing credits. Primarily, these cards are used when users pay for their printouts, for example.

The software can be installed using either German or English, as desired. The user manuals, however, are only available in English at this time. For long-term usage after the test, you need merely enter a license key.
