AVATECH is once again an Official Partner of the Zurich Sixdays
Picture badges are an ideal means of identification for medium and large events. Even the organizers of the Zurich Six-Day Race place a lot of value on being able to quickly recognize groups of visitors and officials to simplify security checks for access to certain areas.
This year, AVATECH is also supplying all of the picture badges for the various classifications of visitors, participants and officials at the Zurich Six-Day Race, as they have previously. At strategic points, particularly in the inside rooms and certain side entrances, there’s no getting through without a picture badge. It is absolutely necessary, for example to avoid heavy overcrowding in the catacombs, when one considers that a total of almost 800 picture badges are required for the participants alone, meaning the racers, other athletes and actors. However, the greater number of badges has been issued for the exhibitors, the sponsors, the VIP guests, the press, and upper management including their assistants.
Where the Zurich Six-Day Race has occurred after Christmas and through the beginning of the year in more recent years, this year the organizers will begin the event much earlier, specifically on Thursday, the 11th of December, 2008. They are hoping that the number of visitors will increase because of that and, at the same time, that the impact on the restaurants in Hallenstadion will be improved.
Because the organizers have been certified from every angle as having gotten an extremely attractive and important event going since the renovation two years ago (to quote “The competition was great, the enthusiasm of the audience was sensational on five of the six nights.”), this goal could not be set too high. And the program is pulling out all of the stops!
This year, great competition and an enthusiastic audience are expected as well.
